And LPI doesn't test them. We follow the LSB base, which doesn't include
distro-specific tools. This is by design.

Yes. There has been a UnitedLinux certification under development, that
would cover the distro-specific elements that are shared by SuSE, Conectiva
and TurboLinux. Given issues with SCO, the exam probably not be called
"UnitedLinux" but it is still being created and will likely be introduced
within the next few months.
LPI is assisting and advising SuSE, Conectiva and TurboLinux in the
development of this certification (whatever it is called) and we may be
involved in its delivery as a contractor. But the program itself is the
property of, and its policies determined by, the three distributions.
