This was changed with the republished exams about a year ago. Our
statistical analysis showed that knowing both didn't have an overall
affect on the scores or quality of the candidate. Demonstrating knowledge
on one, statistically, is suffucient.
Besides, package management isn't a standard set by the LSB. Also, since
I use apt on RedHat instead of RPM, and many Debian users are using RPM,
it really is a non-issue these days. So, the technical issues with
needing to know both aren't as significant as they were just a couple
years ago.
