[lpi-discuss] Translation LPI involucrado en la Educacion Escolar (Open Source in primary education)

Dear Sir or Madam,
Some time ago I had an idea I would like to discuss with you. Sorry, I 
don't speak English; you got to translate it.
The LPI is the leading certification organization for Linux and pioneer 
in distributing professional standards in open source. There exists a 
very large area LPI has not attact yet. It seems to me and it would be a 
good idea to create an idea in relation to this.
"The education in the lower levels", I am talking about children in 
elementary schools. In Latin America and other parts of the world I am 
watching with sorrow as big companies make contracts in cooperation with 
the governments in these terms. In this way they are denying future 
generations being able to know by their schools all the alternatives 
that are offered by open source software.
Concretely, is there any project which enforces the efforts in using 
Linux in elementary schools? And do they reach the boys und girls who 
start having there first experiences in technology?
