So, whatever happened to using the Lintraining.com site?

A while ago we tried (when the initial US affiliate was around) to get a
site going that would provide more US-specific directory assistance for
jobs and announcements. After a circle-the-wagons with the LPI
Mothership, it was decided that such a move would be diluting the
Lintraining.com site's effectiveness.
Has this changed? I hope so, maybe even a site or location for each
region, though one good one will do.
