LPIC-3 is a very good idea but essentially vapourware at this stage. I 
am not aware of any current effort to develop this cert.

As I see it, there needs to be a critical mass of LPIC-2 qualified 
people out there to make LPIC-3 a worthwhile proposition. I don't 
believe we have reached that level yet, but are making good progress. 
Of course,t his is all my opinion and I could be way wrong.

There was a discussion on this a few months back, it might be 
worthwhile to review the archives. AFAIR we talked about general 
areas of expertise such as LAMP, Security, Windows Operability and so 
on
