I wish them the best.
In my continued experience, the VFS hack is far from usable.
It breaks on codepage and case issues regularly.

But a core problem is that UNIX client to Samba server is one
thing, but a UNIX client to native Windows SMB server is
another.  Microsoft Services for UNIX (SFU), now a standard
part of NT 6.0 Server, NFS service works a crapload better.
