I'd like to call attention to something that is perhaps even more
significant, right in the first two sentences of the story but unrelated
to the training:

This is notworthy because it's a specific endorsement, not the "LPIC-1
is one choice from many, choose what's good for you" drivel that has
been written elsewhere. It's a major step forward in the way eWeek (and
that particular writer) have talked about LPI -- previously its articles
have spoken about LPI as one of a pack.
Scott, hang on to this quote, it's a keeper and great for future
promotional material. It's possibly the first-ever specific endorsement
from a general purpose (ie, not Linux-centric) IT media outlet I can recall.
I knew they'd come around. :-)
