MR>I noticed among the news on the website a message posted by Synapsi Srl about
MR>a talk they are going to have in the Linux at work event. In the talk they are
MR>going to speak about Linux certifications.
MR>I find not correct that any private company can post self-promoting news on
MR>the LPI website; what is your policy regarding news postings?
MR>Besides, I tried to obtain more information about the company; there was no
MR>link, but a Google research quickly found
MR>In this page you can read
MR>"Synapsi srl è uno dei centri di formazione autorizzati in ITALIA da LINUX
MR>Which is translated
MR>"Synapsi srl is one of the italian LPI authorized training centres"
MR>Who authorized them?
No one... the babelfish translation didn't put it that way (I do not
speak italian). If you wouldn't mind sending them an email referring
them to me I would appreciate it!
MR>What should we do?
I will remove their posting... when I translated it it looked to me like
they intended to have a seminar talking about LPI. I guess it was a lot
more self promoting than that.
MR>PS I'm sorry because I'm late with the Business Plan for the italian
MR>affiliate. I will have more time to work on it next week.
MR>But I am still waiting for the financial information about LPI to be posted
MR>on the website...
What financial information are you looking for?
Chuck Mead, President, LPI, Inc.
