MR>CE> I will remove their posting... when I translated it it looked to me like
MR>CE> they intended to have a seminar talking about LPI. I guess it was a lot
MR>CE> more self promoting than that.
MR>
MR>In the posting and on the event program it is not clear what they are going
MR>to talk about. But even if they intend talking only of LPI (which is not
MR>stated) I do not think that whoever can give talks about LPI without asking
MR>our prior consent (and by our, I mean LPI.org AND the italian LPI people).

Yes they can... and they can do it without asking permission... but they
can't advertise it on our site and they cannot say they are an
"authorized training center" as we do not have such a program... as I
asked before could you send them an email in Italian asking them to
contact me about the use of the "authorized training center" verbiage.
Thanx!

MR>MR>But I am still waiting for the financial information about LPI to be
MR>MR>posted on the website...
MR>
MR>CE> What financial information are you looking for?
MR>
MR>>From the April "Doubts" discussion on lpi-intl:
MR>
MR>>MR> 4) Why can't we see the financial entries / expenses of LPI (which
MR>>MR> always points back to the problem of not being members)?
MR>
MR>>(Evan Leibovitch)
MR>>EL> We do release financial information. As a non-profit, our financial
MR>>EL> records *must* be available for public examination. I will talk to our
MR>>EL> Treasurer to see how they have been made available.
MR>
MR>This kind of information could also help me a lot with the Business Plan!

Ah yes...

I forwarded this on to our treasurer.
