LPI Exams To Be Offered on Education Day at LinuxWorld Italy
Toronto, May 25, 2005 – The Linux Professional Institute (LPI),
(http://www.lpi.org), the premier professional certification program for
the Linux community, worldwide, will offer reduced price certification
testing during LinuxWorld Italy on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the Crowne
Plaza Milan Linate Hotel, in San Donato Milanese (Milan, Italy).
Italy's second LinuxWorld Expo will take place in Milan, Tuesday and
Wednesday, May 24 and 25, 2005, finishing with an Education Day on May
26 dedicated to training and LPI certification exams. Registered
conference delegates can write the exams free of charge. Trade show
attendees will pay the reduced fee of 60 Euros to write the exams during
the conference, rather than the regular price of 124 Euros.
LPI is an official sponsor of LinuxWorld, internationally, and will be
participating in the LinuxWorld Italy Conference & Expo where LPI's
staff will meet attendees at Booth number E7. During the May 26 exam
labs, LPI will offer 101 and 201 exams, along with 102 and 202 exams for
those who qualify and request the advanced-level testing. All exams will
be offered at 10 - 11:30 a.m., 1 – 2:30 p.m., and 3:30-5 p.m., in the
Borromeo Room. Candidates must pre-register on the LPI website at
https://www.lpi.org/en/register.html to receive an identification
number. All exam candidates should bring valid photo identification and
their LPI ID number to the exam lab.
