LPI Offers Discounted Certification Exams and
Linux Competition at CeBIT 2007
(Kassel, Germany and Toronto, Canada: February 22, 2007)
The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), the world's premier Linux
certification organization (http://www.lpi.org), will host discounted
certification exams and a competitive Linux computer game at CeBIT 2007 in
Hannover, Germany, March 15-21, 2007. CeBIT 2007 will also be the first
that the new LPIC-3 certification exams (301 and 302) will be offered
at a conference in Germany.
The computer game tests a person's knowledge of Linux and will be
available at the LPI booth in hall 5, booth G 64/5, in the Linux Park
(http://www.cebit.de/linuxpark_e). Game competitors will be able to win
a number of attractive prizes which have an overall value of
approximately 10.000 EUR. Linux Front GmbH (http://www.linupfront.de), an
LPI Approved Training Material provider is a sponsor and developer of

LPI will offer discounted certification exams to attendees of CeBIT on
Saturday, March 17th at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00 in the Convention Center
(CC) in the "München" room. Candidates should arrive 15 minutes before
exam start times. Beside the new LPIC-3 certification exams (301 and 302,
in English) all LPIC-1 (101 and 102) and LPIC-2 (201 und 202) exams will be
offered (in both German and English), both MySQL 5.0 exams
developer) and the Ubuntu Professional Certification (in English only).
CeBIT attendees will pay 60,- EUR for the LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams
and 80,- EUR for LPIC-3 exams--a 50% discount off the regular price.
The Ubuntu Professional exam will be available at a discounted fee of
for UBUNTU community members and 85,- EUR to all other CeBIT participants.
The MySQL exams are offered at a 50% discount to all participants at
85,- EUR. All
candidates can pay for their exams at the exam room by cash.
Due to limited seating at the event candidates for all exams are advised
to pre-register at http://lpievent.lpi-german.de . All LPI and Ubuntu

ID number at
